Donald Trump claimed last week that his approval ratings are the highest of his political career, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Recent polls show that voters’ approval of Trump is deeply underwater, especially when it comes to his handling of health care. The message is clear: Americans have had enough of the health care premium hikes and hospital closures that Trump and his cronies in Congress set in motion. Unless Trump and the GOP get serious about reversing their staggering premium increases and putting working families’ health care before tax breaks for billionaires, the blue wave that crashed into them last month will become a tsunami in next year’s midterm elections.
