Working families across the country are grappling with the onset of the Trump-GOP price hikes, and they know exactly who’s to blame for their sky-high bills. While Trump continues his ill-fated quest to ignore the pressing issue of affordability, nearly 22 million Americans are stuck wondering how they’ll keep their health insurance while putting food on the table and paying the bills. By refusing to advance a bipartisan bill to bring back the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits Republicans callously ripped away last year, Trump and his cronies in GOP leadership are standing in the way of relief for millions of Americans. As long as they refuse to fix their health care mayhem, Americans like Azma from Louisiana, whose premiums just doubled, and Jennifer from Wisconsin, who may have to use her entire Social Security check to cover her increased premium each month, will continue to suffer. The latest enrollment numbers show people are losing their coverage and millions are paying more for plans that offer minimal coverage.
