Now, House Republicans are preparing to tag along, setting up the encore of the GOP’s assault against the nation’s health care system and screwing over the lives of everyday people. If they do so, they will join their Senate colleagues in infamy, ensuring millions of Americans get thwacked with unaffordable, gut-wrenching health care hikes.
While Republicans continue toiling to enrich their donors, Protect Our Care held events in a 7-state blitz — headlined by U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff, Representatives Dan Goldman, Tom Suozzi, Tim Kennedy, Brendan Boyle, Governor Tony Evers, and former Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Chiquita Brooks-LaSure — to demand that the GOP end their assault on working people’s health care.
