This week, Protect Our Care is continuing the launch of “Sick of It! Fix Health Care Now” with events in New York, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Colorado featuring lawmakers, health care leaders, and advocates. These events follow Protect Our Care’s “Sick of it! Fix Health Care Now” kick-off events in Alaska, Arizona, California, Georgia, Iowa, Michigan, New Hampshire, Ohio, and Virginia. Protect Our Care also hosted a national launch event in Washington, DC. featuring six House Democrats and advocates with Little Lobbyists, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Caring Across Generations, SEIU, and Community Catalyst.
The multi-month campaign gives voice to the millions of Americans rightfully sick of Trump and Republicans in Congress gutting our health care. Lawmakers, community leaders, providers, and patients are demanding action and calling for commonsense solutions to lower costs, lower barriers to care, and fix our broken health care system.
