Their policies will worsen care and drive up costs for everyone.

Kenwali Ku Ku Mu came to Utica, New York, as a refugee in the 2000s and has since thrived: she became a U.S. citizen, graduated with a degree in criminal justice, and is now studying to enter law school.
“Throughout it all, Medicaid has been my lifeline,” Mu told the Observer-Dispatch. “It’s the bridge that has allowed me to get healthy. Losing it would be devastating.”
