Their policies will worsen care and drive up costs for everyone.

When Sacred Heart hospital in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, closed abruptly, Eric Halfen’s father was forced to relocate hours away for cancer care, and Eric spent as many as six hours in the car every day to visit him.
Eric’s final days with his father “would’ve been a lot less traumatic on him” if his father had been able to stay in Eau Claire, he told ABC News. Unfortunately, due to GOP health care cuts, abrupt hospital closures are becoming all too common.
