Hard-working families already struggling to pay for health care after Trump jacked up their insurance premiums simply aren’t buying the ridiculous mish-mash of half-baked ideas he’s calling a health care plan. We all know what the real Trump health care plan looks like because it’s been playing out across the country since he took office: cutting $1 trillion from working families’ health care to fund tax breaks for billionaires, doubling and quadrupling health care premiums, and forcing hospitals and nursing homes to close. Trump and the GOP need to stop throwing non-starter ideas at the wall and pass the health care solution right in front of them: a clean, three-year extension of the Affordable Care Act tax credits that would bring down premiums for nearly 22 million Americans.
