Statement from Protect Our Care president Brad Woodhouse: “RFK Jr’s public trust rating is in the toilet for a reason. Donald Trump and his health secretary have abused the power of the executive to throttle vaccination rates by fabricating safety concerns. Now the U.S. measles elimination status is doomed with infections at a 35-year high. More babies are getting infected with measles at birth as more unvaccinated adults get sick and leave entire communities vulnerable. Kennedy’s CDC continues to gaslight efforts to document measles infections and deaths in real time, hampering local efforts to promote the only solution to this crisis, the MMR shot. And if RFK Jr has his way and nixes the Hepatitis B shot for newborns, we’ll see up to a 225% leap in infections of the liver cancer-causing disease. Yet Trump and RFK Jr only seem proud of making preventable disease great again. They keep promising some big payoff proving ‘vaccine injury’ — flying in the face of decades of science to the contrary — while ignoring the very real and rising human toll of their anti-vax agenda. American families will keep getting sicker so long as Trump and RFK Jr are the ones making the public health decisions.”
