The latest Navigator polling on the big, ugly bill is out — and it’s clear Republicans are feeling the heat. A year after Trump and Republicans in Congress cut $1 trillion dollars from Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) to fund tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations, Americans are feeling the consequences, and they’re anything but beautiful. Battleground voters are worried sick about higher costs blowing holes in their budgets and kicking millions off their coverage. A majority of battleground voters believe the law benefits billionaires and big corporations over working families. Meanwhile, 3 in 5 Americans nationwide believe that the law has driven up costs and resulted in worse economic outcomes. This November, voters will not forget who put billionaires ahead of working families and will put Republicans’ feet to the fire. 

Trump and Republicans in Congress Are Feeling the Heat for Their Big, Ugly Bill. Nationwide Polling Shows: 

🔥66% of battleground voters oppose cuts to Medicaid funding — a program Trump and Republicans in Congress gutted to pad the pockets of the likes of Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

  • Those opposed to cuts include 94% of Democrats and 62% of Independents.

🔥54% of Americans nationwide are extremely concerned that “millions of Americans have lost or will soon lose healthcare access” thanks to the big, ugly bill. 

  • 91% of Democrats, 68% of economically persuadable voters, and 39% of MAGA Republicans are at least somewhat concerned.

🔥51% of Americans nationwide are extremely concerned that “millions of Americans have lost or will soon lose Medicaid coverage” thanks to the big, ugly bill. 

  • 90% of Democrats, 61% of economically persuadable voters, and 38% of MAGA Republicans are at least somewhat concerned. 

🔥51% of Americans nationwide are extremely concerned that “wealthy Americans will benefit far more than the middle class,” and 50% are extremely concerned that “hundreds of rural hospitals have closed or will close soon” — all thanks to the big, ugly bill.  

Battleground Voters Are Saying Health Care Is Republicans’ Greatest Vulnerability:

🔥 At least a whopping 60% of battleground voters say that they are concerned by the cuts in the big, ugly bill. 

  • When asked to specify why, “the most popular answer was, ‘Passing huge cuts to Medicaid to fund tax breaks for billionaires, kicking millions off their insurance and threatening to close rural hospitals.’” 

Americans Nationwide Are Saying the Only Winners in the Big, Ugly Bill Are the GOP’s Billionaire Donors:

🔥 57% say that billionaires and rich/big corporations have benefited more from the law than middle- and working-class Americans (25%).
