Americans across the country are being squeezed by rising health care costs after Donald Trump and Republicans ripped away Affordable Care Act tax credits that helped more than 22 million people afford coverage — all to help pay for tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations. Premiums are soaring by hundreds or even thousands of dollars more a month, insurers are pulling out of marketplaces, and millions of families are being priced out of the care they depend on to stay healthy and alive. From coast to coast, national and local outlets are documenting a growing affordability crisis that Republicans created, and working families are being left to pay the price. Experts warn that the number of uninsured Americans will continue to climb as more families are forced to drop coverage altogether.

Throughout the month of June, Protect Our Care is blasting Republicans for their health care crisis ahead of the one-year anniversary of their big, ugly bill on July 4th.
