Headlines From National Outlets and 20 States

While Trump and Republicans continue to throw around hot air and half-measures that do nothing to help working families, everyday Americans are struggling to cope with the GOP’s devastating health care crisis. Republicans ended the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits that help working families afford health coverage, forcing nearly 22 million Americans to start the year with sky-high premiumsor no health insurance at all. The GOP price hikes are hitting voters from Maine to Texas, and no amount of side-stepping by Trump and his congressional allies will make this problem go away. The GOP must start putting working people over billionaires by passing the common-sense, bipartisan bill solution on Senate Majority Leader John Thune’s doorstep.
