Washington, DC — On Wednesday, March 2, 2022, U.S. Representatives Dan Kildee (D-MI-05) and Lucy McBath (D-GA-06) will join Protect Our Care for a virtual press conference to discuss their new legislation to lower insulin costs for millions of diabetics. The Affordable Insulin Now Act, which was also introduced in the Senate by Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA), would limit out-of-pocket insulin costs to $35 per month for millions of diabetics with insurance. Lowering insulin costs is an essential step to drive down health care costs and put more money in working families’ pockets.
