WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senate Finance Committee Ranking Member Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will host a press conference with Protect Our Care on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at 12:45 p.m., in Dirksen 215, the Finance Committee hearing room, calling on Republicans to join Democrats to lower health insurance premiums. If Republicans do not extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits by the end of this year, health care costs will skyrocket, and millions of underserved Americans will lose coverage.
Wednesday will mark 400 days since the Finance Committee held a health care policy hearing.
