Today, Protect Our Care is holding events in Wisconsin, New York, California, and Iowa featuring lawmakers, health care leaders and advocates to hold Trump and congressional Republicans accountable for gutting $1 trillion from Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act, all to bankroll tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations. Since then, over 1,000 hospitals, clinics, and essential providers have closed, are at risk of closure or cuts, or have cut essential services, plunging our country into a preventable health care crisis.
