Governor Katie Hobbs, State Lawmakers, and Health Care Advocates Join Protect Our Care
This week, Protect Our Care is holding events in North Carolina, New Hampshire, Georgia, Michigan, and Arizona featuring lawmakers, health care leaders and advocates to hold Trump and congressional Republicans accountable for gutting $1 trillion from Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act to fund tax breaks for billionaires and big corporations. Since then, over 8 million people have lost coverage and over 1,000 hospitals, clinics, and essential providers have closed, are at risk of closure or cuts, or have cut essential services. crushing our health care system and plunging our country into a preventable health care crisis.
During the call, speakers will expose how the Republican health care agenda is crushing our health care system and wreaking havoc on our communities. Come November, voters will not forget who put billionaires and big corporations ahead of working families, and they will make their voices heard.
