Throughout October, Protect Our Care’s “Sick of It! Fix Health Care Now” bus tour crisscrossed the nation. Care Force One traveled nearly 8,000 miles and made 36 stops over the four weeks, where we were joined by over 50 elected and appointed officials and dozens of health advocates. At every stop, we heard from patients, families, providers, advocates, and leaders about what rising costs and Republicans’ health care cuts mean in their communities, and what lawmakers need to do to fix it. lawmakers

Health care has dominated the campaign trail, even moving longtime Trump voters. Polling shows widespread concern about health care costs and coverage, with the public overwhelmingly trusting Democrats over Republicans to handle health care.
